The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe raspberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy blueberry associated with fine fine touches of flowers, spices/nutmeg and toasted.
The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy frame, a good definition, a fine suavity as well as a fine freshness.
On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy cassis, juicy/crunchy blackberry and small notes of juicy/crunchy raspberry associated with a touch of cornflower/iris, racy minerality as well as fine hints of liquorice stick.
Tannins are well-built.

Beautiful dark red with purple reflections.
The wine reveals many pleasant aromas: black fruits (blackcurrant, plum, prune and blueberry), spices (zen, pepper, cloves and vanilla), and evolve into leather and tobacco notes.
These aromas are very specific to this appellation.

The 2015 Coudert is decidedly ripe, plummy, and flamboyant.
Creme de cassis, raspberry, hard candy, sweet spices, menthol, and new leather are all pushed forward in this racy Saint Emilion.

The 2011 vintage is a lovely garnet colour with delicate pink touches.
On the nose, when swirled it gains black fruit notes such as blackberry and cherry, with some development touches tending towards truffle and a spicy element that freshens the whole.
