The wine reveals many pleasant aromas: black fruits (blackcurrant, plum, prune and blueberry), spices (zen, pepper, cloves and vanilla), and evolve into leather and tobacco notes.

These aromas are very specific to this appellation.

The 2015 Coudert is decidedly ripe, plummy, and flamboyant.

Creme de cassis, raspberry, hard candy, sweet spices, menthol, and new leather are all pushed forward in this racy Saint Emilion.

This is one of the riper 2015 Saint Emilions we tasted, yet there is a good deal of floral-infused aromatic lift that provides just enough freshness to keep things in check.
