The Revel Domaine is located in the village of Vaissac , 25 kilometers northeast of Montauban, in the department of Tarn-et-Garonne . It is part of the southern zone of the Coteaux du Quercy Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée . This AOC was born in 2011, after twenty years of hard work! The appellation area includes around fifty wine-growers, spread over predominantly clay-limestone terroirs.

The Domaine's vines are grouped around the cellar, facing the hamlet of Revel. The Domaine has 10 plots located on the edge of the woods , and covers 14 hectares , including 4 in AOC, the rest in IGP Comté Tolosan, a protected geographical indication of the upper Garonne basin, known for its hot and dry summers.

Dark ruby ​​color. An aroma with notes of black fruit, black currant, cherry, hints of spices, cocoa, mint. Wide, complex, fleshy taste with velvety tannins, long aftertaste.

Ageing potential: From 8 to 12 years old.

Culinary Recommendation: To serve 15 C - 17 C. Good match with grilled meats, game, duck breasts, roasted red meat.

Regular and delicate punching downs. Free-run juice selection only. Ageing for 18 months in oak barrels, with monthly stirring. Gravity operations only, without any pump. Compliance with the specifications of organic farming.

Fatty and fleshy wine, expressing great aromatic complexity on blackcurrant, liquorice, spices as well as vanilla, roasted and mocha notes.

Culinary Recommendation: To serve at 14 C - 16 C. Good match with duck breast, red meats in sauce, barbecue rib steak with creamy sage sauce.
