Impressive depth of color, it is a deep dark opaque black ruby with a youthful purple hue. Heady integrated nose with attractive oak, sweet currant, raspberry and toast nuances. Full bodied, good acidity for the vintage, with a solid core of smooth fresh mouthcoating berry fruit accompanied by additional toast and oak overtones. Powerful, seamless with integrated velvet tannins and long lingering finish. Well done.
