It was with Denis BRUNEAU, the grandfather that it all began at La Jarnoterie. At the time, the tastings took place in the Tuffeau cellar.

In 1986, Yvan, the youngest, moved to the very village of Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil with his wife Ghislaine. They then built the vaulted cellar, the cellar and gradually extended the estate. Then came the construction of the 2nd cellar above which is the new tasting room in 1994.

First a worker on the family farm since 2003, it was in 2011 that Damien, the son, moved alongside his parents.

Today the cellar is still as welcoming as before and our old chestnut tons from the grandfather gladly accompany our new oak barrels.

Aromatic, generous, generous aromas of black fruits. Complex, concentrated, fleshy, light notes of cassis, subtle notes of black fruit, long, ripe tannins, rounded tannins, round, powerful body, good intensity, long persistence.
