WINE TYPE: Red
This wine comes from clay-gravelly terroirs exposed on the slopes of the banks of the Garonne, in the AOC area of the Côtes de Bordeaux. The grapes of the three main Bordeaux grape varieties are harvested at optimum maturity. Alcoholic fermentation
with daily pumping over, carried out in a traditional way in thermoregulated vats and the maceration period varies from year to year.
This special red Côtes de Bordeaux cuvée is born from the blend of the best vintages of Château de Garbes. After maturing for 12 months in barrels, the wine is drawn off, filtered gently and bottled.
Its purple and shiny color reveals a structured and balanced wine for ageing which will be appreciated between 2 and 10 years of age thanks to its freshness and its blend. Its nose is fine and fruity, enhanced by toasted and vanilla notes which gracefully accompany a full and round appetizer.
Age of the vine: 30 years
Ageing potential: From 2 to 10 years
Culinary Recommendation: To serve 12-14 C. Good match with game meat, oriental dishes, cheese or chocolate fondant
