We are greeted by a beautiful pretty deep purple dress. A nice, intensely fruity nose, simple and pleasant, a little peppery, encourages us to taste it. It continues on the palate and reinforces its ripe fruitiness of blackcurrant, blackberry with a coffee bean and a hint of tobacco. Small friendly tannins on the finish. Serve on a duck terrine, homemade of course!
