Paracombe Shiraz is harvested when the grapes are showing the best possible flavours and quality from the Drogemuller family vineyard and specialist local growers in the Paracombe district.

The grapes undergo a slow, cool fermentation followed by gentle pressing to gain a soft extraction of flavour and tannins. Enjoy the rich aromas, concentrated flavours, and cool climate elegance of this wine. This vintage’s dark ruby colour accompanies an intense bouquet of cherries, plums, white pepper and spice.

The palate offers generous flavours, layered with rich, spicy fruit, fine tannin structure and subtle oak. A complete wine to enjoy now or for many years with gentle cellaring.

Inky but fragrant, earthy mulberry & red plum aromas lead the way. The wine is beautifully knitted on the palate, with fleshy plum flavours and firm but gentle tannins. Cool climate spice with warm climate texture – a lovely combination.
