2017 vintage: 2 stars in the Hachette des Vins Guide

Rated 91/100 by Andreas Larsson, best sommelier in the world 2007, creator of "Tasted 100% Blind": "Dark purple color, black as ink, with pure and spicy aromas, cassis, black cherry and a taste of 'herbal spices. The mouth is dense with a smooth structure and a beautiful amplitude, retained by a nice freshness, digestible aromas of blackcurrant with sage and pepper. The oak is not noticeable, and the finish is long and vigorous. "

Eric Fabre, wine merchant sommelier at Atrium Vigouroux (Cahors - 46): “Well-cooked black fruits, a nice complexity with a sage side, a little violet, of course spices (sweet from the barrel, but also a little more dry). On the palate, it is dense, a wine with chewiness, but with a certain elegance. The finale unfolds, and suddenly, from the cigar! Not the cold ash! No ! Sweet dried tobacco. This is the first time that I have tasted something similar. It is without a doubt the most complex and successful Quercy that I have tasted, by far. "

Journal Le Monde, Wine special, June 2019: “Very small yields, a good portion of Cabernet Franc (40%), completed by a blend of tannat, Malbec and Merlot, give this wine both fleshy and distinguished. On the nose, very floral notes of violet and rose embrace the coffee. The palate is fine, velvety like a caress. Must be ventilated before serving or forget about ten years in the cellar. "
