This cuvée is a tribute to the ancestor-grandfather Amand who kept part of his harvest in 1928 to vinify his Champagne himself.
This Champagne is a return to basics, with vinification in small oak barrels. Regular stirring of the lees, no filtration and long aging in bottles make this Champagne unique in its complexity.
Named after the present owner's great-grandfather, this Champagne comes from a selection of parcels in the Marne Valley village of Venteuil. From a great vintage, the wine is ripe and textured, showing some toastiness while still guarding plenty of white fruits. Drink now.
