Balanced Lacoste Borie Pauillac from France is a cuvée made from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties. In Bordeaux, the grapes produced for this wine grow on gravel soils. When perfectly matured, the grapes for Lacoste Borie Pauillac are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective machines. After the hand-picking, the grapes immediately reach the press house. Here you will be selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in a stainless steel tank at controlled temperatures. After its end, Lacoste Borie Pauillac will be expanded for another 14 months in barriques made of partly new wood.
The elegant Lacoste Borie Pauillac by Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste shines purple into the glass. At the edge, this French red also shows a transition to garnet red. The nose of this Bordeaux red wine captivates with nuances of blackcurrant, blackberry, mulberry and blueberry. If we continue to feel the aroma, cocoa bean, bitter chocolate and gingerbread spice are added.
This wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine that stands out clearly from simpler qualities and so this Frenchman naturally enchants with the finest balance in all dryness. Taste doesn't necessarily require a lot of sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully dense. In the finish, this well storable red wine from the Bordeaux wine-growing region finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of blackberry and mulberry. In the reverberation, mineral notes of the gravel-dominated soils are added
This red wine from France should best be enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as a companion to cabbage roulades, lemon chili chicken with bulgur or red onions filled with couscous and apricots.
