Souvignier gris was created in 1983, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Bronner as" parents ". This lineage gives the berries a pinkish hue and a certain aromatic character. On the nose, this cuvée imposes a certain power, with notes of citrus fruits, black fruits… All this is quite confusing, we find important analogies with a nose of Blanc de Noirs! On the palate, a very nice acidity gives a very dense structure to this wine, with fruity notes which develop little by little. Complex and very atypical, the mouth ends with beautiful floral notes, and some very sweet lemony touches… A real UFO to the end! Recommended food and wine pairings: as an aperitif of course, but also with seafood, white fish or even well-matured cheese.
