Paracombe Shiraz Viognier is a single vineyard, specialist blended wine from the MacGillivray vineyard at Paracombe. The grapes grow side by side in the vineyard, are harvested and co-fermented together creating a happy marriage right from the start.
The bouquet offers dark cherry and plum aromas with hints of musk rose petal and honeysuckle. Opulent fruit flavours combine in harmony with mocha and spicy notes to add complexity and a lingering finish.
A complete wine to enjoy now and will reward further with cellaring.
A lovely finesse to this wine, there are many fruit spice and earthy aromas yet you are left intrigued and drawn into the palate. Raspberry into blackberry with white pepper, smoked meats and charcuterie. In the mouth a blackberry plum liquorice length smoothly flowing tannins and spicy complexity.
