The Domaine started its activity in the 1960s. Michel POULLEAU and his wife Jacqueline together exploited the vineyard. Then in 1983, their son Thierry joined them with their daughter-in-law who also jointed them later to manage the estate for the administrative and commercial part. After 1996 when Michel retired, the estate has headed by Thierry and Florence with the help of two ladies.
Bright ruby. Red fruits aromas. Concentrated and delicate. Scents of fresh flowers and the hint of chocolate. The tannins are melted and carry nuances of undergrowth before tasting the cherry in the flesh.
Ageing: in oak barrels, 20% of which are new barrels
Age of the vine: 50 years
Age of vineyards: 40 to 50 years
Culinary agreements: To serve at 15‐16 ° C. Good pair with roast poultry, grilled meats, rabbit or Camembert.
