Intense cherry red with slight purple highlights. On the nose, noticeable red fruit aromas, with spicy hints of black fruit. On the palate, it is very full-bodied, broad and well structured with a good balance between the body and acidity.

The vineyards on our Estate are a gift from nature.
They are located outside the town of Malpica del Tajo (Toledo, Central Spain), within the boundaries of the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) of Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla.
Fortune has favoured the area with everything it needs to grow vines with great success.
Two mountain ranges, the Montes de Toledo and the Sierra de Gredos, and the Tajo River determine the landscape of the estate, which is located 500 metres above sea level. The river provides pure melt-water and mineral-rich chalk and clay soils, on former river terraces. The sun shines throughout most of the year and characteristically low temperatures at night create the ideal microclimate for vines. This is the largest family-owned single-estate vineyard in the whole of Europe: 736ha of vines over a total area of 1000ha, divided across 64 parcels and 8 varieties, both Spanish and international. Each parcel is managed on an individual and specific basis.
General Aging:
Culinary Recommendation: To serve 16 - 18 C. Good match with slightly spicy Asian cuisine, white meat, pasta dishes and cheese.
