Sommelier's Notes

Château HURADIN and Domaine du SALUT merged in 1967 to form one unique vineyard.

Auréla and Frédéric Caumont are independent wine growers who make their wine fully in house, from grape to bottle.

Located in the plateau of Cérons, the farm sits on an exceptional soil which is able to express roundness and fruit in the bottle.

They produce wines that are affordable and designed to be enjoyed casually.

Le Domaine Salut, with its cuvée "À bon entendeur" 2022 offers us a red wine from the Graves appellation, located on the left bank of Bordeaux.

A classic blend of the region, the 2022 vintage is characterized by a warm summer and optimal maturity, promises beautiful aromatic concentration, ripe tannins, and a generous mouthfeel.

The vinification process, typical of Graves, aims to preserve the fruit's freshness while revealing the elegance of the tannins.

This 2022 already promises enjoyment today, but it will also age beautifully in the cellar for a few extra years.

The word of the Winemakers Aurélia and Frédéric Caumont : Round, flexible, structured and so chic on a table !

This wine pairs perfectly with generous and flavourful dishes. Think of a grilled sirloin steak cooked over vine cuttings, roasted duck breast, or braised beef cheek. Mushrooms, especially when prepared in a Bordeaux sauce (sauce bordelaise), or aged cheeses like Saint-Nectaire can also enhance its aromas. Local regional flavors, such as duck confit or ceps (porcini mushrooms) à la bordelaise, also marry very well with the suppleness and freshness of a cuvée from Graves.
