WINE TYPE: Red

Sommelier's Notes

Created in 1789, it is the oldest estate in the southern Ardèche. It was in 1975 that the beautiful history of the Domaine de Vigier began, with the installation of Jacqueline and Francis on 40 hectares of vines, in Lagorce .

For a long time, the winemakers have taken care to preserve the environment and have implemented practices in this direction. This virtuous and reasoned approach, which we apply on a daily basis, is a guarantee of quality for the wines we offer. It also allows us to aim for organic certification "

The wines are AOP Côtes du Vivarais and IGP Ardèche with a personality closely linked to that of the Ardèche

terroir.

The winemakers are interested in promoting the Rhône Valley grape varieties using sustainable viticulture and mechanical harvesting with aging in oak barrel and traditional corks.

Grenache and Syrah blended for Côtes du Vivarais.

Viognier, which we re-established in our region at the end of the 80s, which fully expresses its typicity.

The same goes for Syrah, a pure grape variety that will only surprise you.
