Second wine of the prestigious Château La Lagune, Moulin de La Lagune 2015 has the style of a great red wine of the Haut-Médoc.
Fruit of a very great vintage for the region of Bordeaux, Moulin de La Lagune 2015 rewards the precision work and constant attention given by the technical teams at Château La Lagune led by the talented Caroline Frey.
Moulin de La Lagune 2015 is the result of a blend celebrating the typicality of the Médoc grape varieties by combining Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (50%) and Petit Verdot (5%). The vines of Château La Lagune are planted on a very large terroir typical of the Médoc, with soils made up of gravel and silica.
The climatic conditions of the year, marked by a hot, dry summer, enabled us to obtain very good ripeness with berries in excellent health, with great aromatic richness and concentration. Carefully conducted, the vinification process was careful to favour a gentle extraction of the tannins and anthocyanins.
Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which are renewed every year, Moulin de La Lagune 2015 of Château La Lagune seduces with its richness, elegance and fine structure. A beautiful Haut-Médoc wine perfectly balanced which will evolve gracefully in the cellar between now and 2025-2030.
