Sommelier's Notes

Château Fleur Cardinale is a Grand Cru produced on the Saint-Émilion appellation. Since 2001, the estate has been owned by Florence and Dominique Decoster, who has raised it to Grand Cru Classé status in Saint-Émilion.

Made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, Château Fleur Cardinale amazes with vintage in vintage and surprises with its powerful and elegant character.

This Château Fleur Cardinale is adorned with a deep robe of dark red color. Its nose, gourmand and refined releases aromas of ripe fruit (black cherries, black currants, strawberries), accompanied by floral notes. The mouth is generous and expresses a lot of freshness with aromas of ripe fresh fruit and light oak hints. The palate is sweet, medium-bodied and the tannins are silky, of great finesse. The finish is long and balanced.

Culinary Recommendation: To serve 18 C. Good match with a firm-fleshed fish for a perfect match.
