Château la Peyruche Côtes de Bordeaux 2015

YEAR OF VINTAGE

WINE TYPE: Red

BOTTLE SIZE: 750 ml

Sommelier's Notes

The vineyard is located on the hillsides above the Garonne, in Langoiran, 25km South of Bordeaux. Those hills are made with red gravel at the top and clay and limestones on the sides.

The vineyard covers 20 hectares with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon planted on different parcels with different directions facing the West, North-West and South.

This exceptionally diversified terroir allows wines to be made with truly unique character, mixing authenticity with a bit of complexity.

This red wine is a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.

The wine is aged partially in new oak and partially in used oak for 12-14 months. Aromatic and fresh with cherry, berries, and plum, the wine is well-structured with a tannic backbone and a persistent spicy finish.
