Cherry red color, with ruby red reflections. The nose evokes notes of raspberry, blackcurrant, licorice, with scents of violet. The palate is luscious with crunchy tannins. The fresh and saline finish is accompanied by aromas of licorice and pepper.
Its fruity frankness, its spicy aromas call for fine charcuterie, white meat with spicy juice, roast poultry, grilled red meat, mushroom omelette, beef stew and fresh pasta, veal kidneys. Mont d'or, Saint-Nectaire, Reblochon and Epoisses will also be valued.
