Domaine BOUSSARD is a family estate.
Coming from a family of farmers for 5 generations, Olivier planted his first vines 30 years ago on the edge of Chablis, on the Domaine de Montpierreux in Venoy.
His know-how and his passion for the terroir and the profession of winegrower have enabled him to grow and expand his range of wines over the years.
The Estate now extends over 23 hectares, located in the municipalities of Beines and Venoy on the edge of Chablis.
The vines are worked according to the principles of sustainable viticulture with HVE Level 3 Certification (Operation of High Environmental Value).
As an Independent Winegrower, Olivier produces his own wines at the estate using traditional methods.
It is in Nitry, 17 km from Chablis, in the rustic setting of the cellar, installed in the old farmhouse, that you will participate in the tastings of the wine.
The Chardonnay which associated with the minerality brings to the white wines finesse, elegance, purity and beautiful floral notes.
It is from this variety originating in Burgundy that the winegrower produces his Chablis, Petit-Chablis and his AOP Bourgogne blanc.
Since 1995, he has been offering his cuvées "La Chaume Blanche", "Les Vieilles Vignes", "La Cuvée Réserve" aged in oak barrels, and the youngest from the family: the Cuvée "Camille" (Bronze Medal at the Paris General Agricultural Competition in February 2020, selection in the Revue du Vin de France in June 2020 and 2021, Gold Medal in the Gilbert & Gaillard Guide in 2021).
Pinot Noir, a grape variety which brings character and expression to the red wines of Burgundy, by restoring all the aromas linked to its production terroir.
At Domaine Boussard in 2001, the first harvest of pinot noir gave birth to “La Cuvée Margot” which bears the first name of Isabelle and Olivier’s daughter.
To this wine with a subtle and fruity character will be added the cuvée "Les Vieilles Vignes" then a "Cuvée Réserve" aged in oak barrels.
Pinot Noir also comes from the Bourgogne cuvée “Rosé” as well as the “Crémant de Bourgogne Rosé”.
