Fermented in French oak puncheons and hand plunged fourtimes daily. Basket pressed and completed malolactic fermentation and 18 months maturation in French oak barrels on lees to maintain structure and fruit profile. Minimum two years bottle maturation in our cellars before release.

Review by: Andrew Caillard MWMedium crimson. Developed liquorice, sage, musky plum redcurrant aromas with underlying roasted walnut, polished leather notes. Generous, warm and supple with sweet musky plum, roasted walnut, praline, chinotto flavours, fine silky textures and integrated long acidity. Aniseed, liquorice heat at the finish. Voluminous and richly flavoured with secondary characters giving complexity and interest... best to drink soon.
