WINE TYPE: Red

Sommelier's Notes

A blend of Syrah and Petit Verdot , from our best plots,   ILEX  stands out as a wine of character that is both elegant, silky and structured, with fresh acidity and velvety tannins.

Manual harvesting, traditional vinification and aging for twelve to eighteen months in barrels allow this cuvée to make the most of this marriage between a Cévennes grape and a Bordeaux.

Beautiful sustained dress with garnet reflections. Aromas of blackberry and earth after the rain. Notes of blueberry and sweet spices. Fresh with relief, on the same aromatic framework.

Tasted 100% Blind by Andreas Larsson

"Beautiful and intense violet color. A floral nose, notes of black fruit, violet, blackberry, pepper and an aniseed touch.

Good volume on the palate, a fairly young wine but balanced proportions, rich and ripe tannins, fresh acidity, spicy notes (pepper, cloves) and a pleasant finish. "
