WINE TYPE: Red
Purest expression of Syrah. Well-made and well-aged wine from Northern Rhône. Cornas are often very tannic in their youth but this wine did wait patiently for its day. Deep ruby colour, hazy with some sediment. Clean pronounced aromas of black fruit, spice, black currant leaf, forest floor. Dry, medium acidity, medium silky tannin, medium alko 13.5%, very long finish. Food pairings: Beef, lamb, game (deer, venison) & poultry.
